The application is merely an introductory process for the guild members to get to know who you are. Resurrected is a mature and stable guild with a very tight-knit group of raiders.
A few things to keep in mind. Resurrected is currently recruiting raid ready players only. This means a few things. Please be level 80. Please be familiar with current raid content, and the strategies needed to conquer it. Please have all of your gear properly gemmed and enchanted. If you do not ordinarily log out in your normal PvE gear and PvE spec, note as much in your application, and link to a talent calculator and/or chardev.org profile.
Very important: There is no immediate accept/reject for Resurrected's applications, simply because we aren't actively recruiting all classes all the time, thus many applications will be left untouched. A separate forum has been setup for our members to comment on and discuss applicants. An acceptance to Resurrected will come directly from an officer. Any in-game tells, questions, or comments should be sent to Azyl, Ivanetta or Whorgrar.
Application Process
- The application process has a few phases. We do not have a big process to go through. The main portion of the application will just be an applicant raiding and proving their skill to the guild.
- Application stage - This begins when someone applies to Resurrected. The application will remain in our forums for commentary from guild members. Be ready to answer follow up questions, and if needed, come on vent for an interview. This is of course, much easier if you have a microphone. We like people with microphones.
- Probation stage - When you reach probation stage we will invite you to the guild with the rank of probation for a short trial period. It is possible to earn DKP during this period; however, new recruits/applicants have last priority on loot. We encourage our probation members to try for all items that are upgrades so they can gear as fast as possible. Resurrected wants you to be geared well enough to raid in the highest possible content we are doing. Within about two weeks, recruits on probation will be either promoted to initiate or removed from the guild.
- Initiate - An Initiate is a new member who is not eligible for promotion to core member loot priority status. New members will generally remain Initiates for a few weeks after their initial ginvite. Initiates are subject to a class review amongst the officers every week, and must use this time to address any performance issues that they may be having. Initiates are still under full membership review and may be gkicked after any weekly performance review if they are deemed unqualified for our raiding spots.
